Product Designer, Core Experiences

Dear Rory,

I am applying for the Product Designer role on Northstar Works’ Core Experiences team. I am drawn to products that make complex work feel understandable without hiding the details.

At Fieldnote, I partnered with research and engineering to redesign a workflow used by operations teams every day. We tested early with customers, shipped in focused increments, and used support themes to decide what to improve next.

I would enjoy sharing the work and hearing what your team is exploring.

In brief

  • Redesigned a high-volume workflow used by 14,000 monthly users
  • Improved task completion by 26% in moderated usability studies
  • Co-authored a component library with 5 product teams

Kind regards,

Inez Okafor
