Early Years Teacher
Dear Ms. Ward,
I am excited to apply for the Early Years Teacher position at Willowbank Primary School. I believe young children learn best when they feel safe to explore, ask questions, and bring their own ideas into the classroom.
At Brookside Nursery, I plan play-based learning for a class of 24 children and work closely with families and support staff. I have introduced simple observation notes that help us notice emerging interests and adapt activities without losing the joy of discovery.
I would love to learn more about Willowbank’s early years approach and share how I could contribute to it.
A few bright spots
- Seven years in early years and reception settings
- Qualified teacher status with a focus on child development
- Strong family partnership and inclusive classroom practice
Warm regards,
Ruthie James
Early Years Educator
