I am writing to apply for the Research Associate opening at Coast Futures Lab. My work has focused on how coastal change is experienced locally and how research partnerships can make evidence useful to the people shaping adaptation plans.

At the Mombasa Marine Institute, I coordinate field interviews and shoreline observations with community organizations. I enjoy the full arc of this work: asking a focused question, listening carefully, and sharing findings in a form partners can use.
